Any one else had problems after restoring a backup in iOS 13.

No problem sending or receiving new new email from the iPhone (XS Max) but all older emails in in-box and folders come up with the message: “Message not downloaded from server”

Have tried most/all of the recommendations for fixing this issue: toggling WiFi, toggling airplane mode, restarting the phone, turning iCloud mail off and on, force quitting the mail app, etc.

Settings all look ok. No error messages. Everything works fine on Mac and iPad and contents from all emails are all there and viewable, but not on the iPhone.

Wondering if it’s an iOS bug or iCloud servers.

I’m having exactly the same issue!

You’ll need to delete the Mail app. Then, re-download it from the App Store, and don’t forget to turn on Use iCloud for Mail in the Settings app.
