Whenever I attempt to log in to my email through the iCloud.com website, I get an error that says "To use iCloud Mail, create an @me.com email address by turning on Mail in your iCloud settings using iOS or OS X." I am also unable to access it through my iPhone 4 running the iOS 5 GM.

I've got the email set up prior to this and it was working properly. Any idea what would be causing this?

I would assume that too except for the fact that I'm sitting a few feet away from someone who is able to log in and access the mail just fine.

Me too, I have iCloud mail working on phone and macbook, but when trying to use it via the web portal I get the same error. Anyone know how to resolve this?
 
Same issue here. Works fine on iPhone and Mac, but the web portal returns the error that an @me address must be set up. I migrated from MobileMe.
 
Same problem here. I wonder if it is because I use the .mac email address instead of the .me. I've tried switching but I still get the same error.
 
Anyone spoken with Apple Support on this? I was going to, but just imagine the wait right now to speak to someone is going to be long! :)
 
It seems icloud mail is down now anyway, guess they are having a lot of issues with the demand.
 
Anyone get any further with this, my iCloud mail is back online via iPhone, but web portal still shows the same error.

I can get me mail on the phone and the iPad...but for some reason it is not working on the macbook....not sure what to do...

FWIW, I was at my local Apple Store earlier this afternoon (2 p.m. Central) for a Genius appointment on an unrelated issue. The Genius I was working with stated he was still experiencing issues with iCloud email pushing to his devices (MacBook and iOS devices). But, to be his own Devil's Advocate, he also stated that he has met with customers who have not had any issues to date. :confused:
