Hi All

I've been putting around in Apple Music and I have gone and deleted a chunk of my music library. I thought if I exported the playlists they'd be safe, however, when I reimport the playlists, they aren't recognised because the tracks aren't in my library anymore.

As it's in iCloud, I'm unsure if I can restore it. These are songs from Apple Music that I do not own. Does anybody have thoughts on whether or not I can restore the iCloud Music Library to an earlier version?

Many thanks

Are you saying you copied music files to an iCloud Drive folder you made or you wrongly though Apple Music was some type of backup system? If the latter then you will need to use your backup (Time Machine, CCC, CDs....) to restore since Apple Music is NOT a backup.

I'm saying: I signed up for Apple Music. I added a bunch of music to the iCloud Music Library. Then I deleted a bunch of music from the iCloud Music Library. Is there any way to retrieve what I've deleted? Revert my library back to say, yesterday.

It's not music I own, I'm just looking for an easier way than to manually add all those songs back again.

There is no restore button for IML. You add music or you remove music. That's it. Nothing gets backed up in it. It's only purpose is so all your devices can access the same music library and playlists. And make changes and have it automatically sync to all devices.
