iCloud no longer auto backing up..

so I made a thread a few days ago how I got notification of needed to backup since it hasn’t been done in two weeks ( installed ios11 then)

Thought it was weird so iCloud backup was on? Did it manually then toggled it off then back on again in hopes of it working

Few days later and it hasn’t backed up once other than when I manually did it

Am I stupid or I can’t find any option to fix this or did they get rid of the daily automatic back up?

Yes? I’ve had on auto backup where it would backup every night without me having to touch a thing

Now it’s not doing it

I'm hearing a couple of people having this similar issue saying that it's a bug. Do you use alternative ones like amazon drive or google drive?

Is the phone plugged in? The device needs to be plugged in to back up to iCloud.

What? It’s plugged in every night

It has to be on WiFi to backup but yes it’s on WiFi

And no it still is not automatically backing up

I still have to manually back up the phone meaning I have to go into iCloud and click back to. Before ios11 it would basically automatically back up around 1-2am
