icloud not syncinc with outlook

I searched all over the web but could not find anyone with the same problem as I'm experiencing.

I have outlook 2007 installed on win 7 ultimate. I installed icloud's control panel. The first sync when I install the control panel works fine but it doesn't install the icloud add-in to outlook. I don't see it in the trust center under add-in neither as acitve or inactive. It's just not there.

Can someone help?

I surprised that that MS products work with icloud at all.

outlook 2007 is pretty old isn't it? you might need to upgrade to the current version.

Tried office 2010 but I'm stuck with the configuration loop problem on application start. Can't find a way to make it work properly. On top of it, iCloud doesn't even see outlook 2010. So it is not an option for now.

I have it working with 2010 on my Win7 notebook, haven't had any problems.

You are not. I have the same problem. On the initial setup all works fine. After that iCloud will not sync with outlook 2007 either way. I check the trusted area got iCloud addin, nothing there. What are we doing wrong?
