iCloud Notes Disappeared on Mac

For some reason, iCloud was acting up today and kept asking me for my iCloud password and other keychain passwords. I don't know much about keychain passwords and what to put in so I ended up signing out of iCloud and then rebooted.

I signed back in and my other stock apps were okay except for Notes. My Notes app has the titles but no data. I checked iCloud via web and it's there. My iPhone and iPad have the notes too. What can I do to get my Notes data back up on my MBP?

Thanks so much. You're a life saver. This worked. I have over a hundred notes and it was so upsetting that they didn't show up on my MBP. Some of the fixes out there included changing your library folders and I didn't want to do that.

Also, I've taken out my documents from iCloud Drive. I find that buggy too. I noticed that I would delete a document and the next day it was back. I also had duplicates. I don't trust it at all.

This morning my Safari bookmarks order in my favourites bar had changed. I'm thinking this was from the iCloud password verification I had yesterday because I had numerous pop ups that asked me to verify Safari keychain.

I'm wondering if I have to do some keychain maintenance. Any suggestions?

This is complete BS that crap like this (and all the other bugs) happens in Yosemite and I'm tempted to downgrade to Mavericks again, but then all the work I've done in Yosemite Pages wouldn't open up in Mavericks so I would have to find them all and put them into Mac Word. I really regret updating to Yosemite. It wasn't worth it for the new features I thought I wanted.

Mavericks is great. Yosemite is pretty, but buggy. iOS 8 is ugly, and buggy. But I'm addicted to Continuity. Made many calls from Mac and loving it so I have to stay on Yosemite.
