When I manually copy, for backup reasons, my iCloud Drive on either of my two Macs, an extra Documents folder appears, at the paste destination, containing no files, dated in May last year. So I end up with my iCloud Documents Folder containing files and another Documents folder with no files / zero bytes. It seems to be something connected to iCloud rather than the Mac as it happens on both my Macs. Any ideas on how I can get rid of the ghost folder ? On Mac is Sonoma the other Big Sur.
