I've tried to buy something on itunes recently, upon entering my password I keep getting an error message saying I have entered the wrong password (even though it's the one I've been using for years). So I followed the links, and reset my password. Although I can log in on apple.com in the "My apple ID" section with my new password, I'm still greeted by the "incorrect password" error on all other apple related products i.e buying things on itunes/ios/trying to log into icloud etc... any ideas?!!

Thanks!!

And...now it shows up as an outage on their trouble page...whew...

Shows as hunky dorey here, yet i cannot login changed my passcode twice now in panic someone hacked into it.

Apple how about little notification to peoples backup emails about this? NOT BLOODY FUNNY.

Whats odd is you can get into your appleid and reset it...I too did the same thing on my account, I thought it was compromised too

Thanks, least others are having it, last thing I need at minute, I am only glad I am at home when I noticed the problem.

I am also having this issue. Looks like the "Account & Sign In" is having issues, started around 1:50 PM PST.

Contacted an Apple Rep and they have confirmed the issue.

Back up for me as well.

I just updated to 10.8.3 and had the error message . Then tried to go to iCloud.com and it was the same.
Before completely panicking , I restarted my computer and everything was fine again :))))
