iCloud password chain doesn't work

When I got the new MPB all the sites gave me an option to use the stored passwords.

Then it stoped - don't get the option anymore. I assume I did something to accidentally select this. How do I get it to refill my email as well as my passwords from iCloud? it works fine on the iPhone/iPad.

It is disabled by default I believe. Visit the iCloud settings and ensure that iCloud Keychain sync is enabled on your new device.

I just checked and it's enabled, but it still doesn't offer me the option when I log in to sites/apps.

Check in Safari preferences/autofill and ensure user names and passwords is checked.
