I was expecting the Apple TV update to bring support for iCloud Photo Library, since both iOS and OS X now support it. But my ATV still just has Photo Stream (which I no longer use). I was hoping to set my screensaver to "Favorite Photos" or something.

iCloud Photo Library and Apple TV?

yeah, I had to delete weird stuff out of Photostream via Apple TV despite my Photostream on iOS not being active for over a year....and the strange thing is the icon is the same as Photos.app, so you'd think you could access iCloud Photos.................no idea what they're doing with this.
I'd like this also, at the moment I am working with 'shared albums'.
I have it set up as follows;
My apple ID on my devices (iPhone)
My partners apple id on her devices (iPhone)
A separate apple id for our shared devices (Mac, iPad and Apple TV)
Anything I want on the apple ID or as an album shared with my gf as well I make a new shared album which we can both add to, and share it with all 3 ID's to allow it to appear on the TV also.
