I logged out of iCloud on my iMac, where I use photos with full resolution for some fault finding...wish I hadn't logged out...

So now it seems they are not in sync when I logged in as it said there's not enough room on my iMac for the library, when there would be if it looked at what already is on to sync between iCloud and my iMac.

So now I'm in a muddle, it asks if I want to optimise but I don't, I keep full resolution on my iMac for backup purposes.

I'm also worried as the item count in photos view, is different to the number on the bottom that says xx photos and xx videos. So now I'm not sure where I am....

Also on Apple.com is it free to chat or etc a call when you go through support? It's out of warranty now but is this sort of issue free to ask Apple for help? I'm in UK if makes a difference.

Thanks
