As the title says iCloud Photo Library on my iPhone 7 wants to re-upload all my images and videos (5348 items). I have 200 gigs iCloud storage with Photos taking around 60 gigs and I have Download and Keep Originals enabled. It says Uploading 5343 Photos at the bottom. The strange thing is that the phone really uploads something (checking my router's traffic monitor) but my iCloud Storage remains the same. It happened right after I took a few shots. It also happened around 10 days ago (re-uploading all Photos) and it took two days while draining the phone even in standby. But it also happened with my iPhone 6 several times so I'm really clueless. Is it doing some kind of consistency check? It's getting very very annoying now.

Hmm.

A similar thing happened to me. In the end I just had to download all my photos to my computer, delete my iCloud Photo Library (you can do this from iCloud settings from an iOS device), leave it overnight, and then re-upload all the photos the next day.

If you have a slow connection and lots of photos though, you might not want to bother.

It generally sorts itself out eventually but I was impatient and doing that fixed it.

The next time it happens I will do what you suggest, I was thinking about it myself but the 4mbit upload I have is a bit bad. :)

I have the same issue! In the last four weeks my iPhone 7 Plus re uploaded all of my 14.000 photos three times! It happens occasionally and I can't figure out what the trigger for that behavior is!

Does anyone of you guys has an idea!?
