iCloud Photo - What is classed as item?

Drives me nuts lol, I have nearly 4,000 photos, 228 videos and 1 item. WTF is the item, is there a way to tell?

This drove me crazy for awhile as I had 1 item randomly show up about a year ago too. Eventually I found a PDF file hanging out in my photo library which was the culprit.
