Upstate NY . Was FL.
I have since day one have photos switch turned off for iCloud. But under manage storage there is 55.8GB of photos stored in the cloud apparently. Can someone please explain to me what this means as I don’t understand it well. Thanks.

Have you logged into your icloud account to check what photos are present?
I think I figured it out but unsure. They don’t seem to be photos that I had taken with my phone recently. I haven’t had time to look back historically as yet. I think the 55gb of photos are the pics from my MacBook.
I’m so damn disorganized in the sense that I didn’t chose one path from the get go when it came to photo storage from my iPhone. Cheers.

Ah ok, I see. Yeah I think when you log in it just shows your your iCloud account usage, not your iPhone usage of said account, so you would see the data usage from your mac there.
