Good evening all.
This is a question I've had for a while. As none of my mac friends are able to help with it, I turn to you lot for advice.
My question concerns ICloud photos .... note, this is NOT the photos app on a mac, but rather my stored photos, in the cloud, accessible from logging in at icloud.com.
I am a keen aviation photographer and store my photos in the cloud using a very simple structure. For example, I have two directories for my aircraft - Military or Civil and then state if its a plane or a helicopter before stating the model. An example may look something like this:-
AIRCRAFT > MILITARY > PLANE > EUROFIGHTER TYPHOON > all photos here.
I have noticed over the years that it does not seem possible to automatically order the albums alphabetically. As a result, I have been doing this by using the photos app on my phone, long pressing and album and manually ordering the albums alphabetically.
This USUALLY works and also orders the albums so that when I log on through my imac, they are in the order I want.
However, today this has not been the case. As you can see from the screenshots below, on my phone, all of the albums are ordered alphabetically ...

However, on my imac > icloud.com, one album (Saab 29 Tunnan) just will not budge - and remains incorrectly listed (the second one in on the image below).
So that leaves me with 2 questions:-
1. Is it possible to automatically sort my albums on icloud ? Up to now I have found no way of doing this.
2. Why is the Saab album above 'stuck' on my icloud photos, but in the right place on my phone?
Thanks in advance for anyone who can offer any solutions.
Please note - i DON"T want to use the photos app on my imac due to storage issues (and the time it would take to download the many thousand photos I have).
