When Yosemite is released in October will we have access to iCloud Photos? Or do we have to wait for the new Photos app next year? Not sure if this was adressed by apple.

I know its definitely in iOS 8 but how are they integrating it into Yosemite, will there be a section in the current iPhoto desktop app?

I think iPhoto is going away

It is going away but not until the new photos app is released early next year.... I was wondering if there was an interim solution between yosemite's release in October and the new Photos app in early 2015, to see and manage iCloud pictures.

All they said is that the new Photos app in Yosemite is coming early next year. Otherwise, they have been pretty mum on the subject, probably due to them still figuring things out.
