Heya... So...
This strange thing is happening on my account.
I have about 330 photos on my iPhone and iCloud Library. Those photos are occupying about 700mb, which seams reasonable taking that each photo is between 1.4 and 2'ish MB...

The thing is, on my iCloud account i have 2.3GB occupied with photos from iCloud Photos. And on my Mac i also have a 2.65GB library.

That difference is a HUGE, so what's occupying all that space?

I also notice that the space used on my iPhone, sometimes, it goes up to 1'ish GB, but then it goes back to 600-700 MB.
Also i don't have the optimisation turned on. I have it to save the full resolution photos on my iDevice.

Any ideas?

I attached some pics so you can see what i'm talking about.

Have you checked the 'Recently Deleted' album and how much video do you have?

My only advice: don't try to understand it. As with all Apple services, Photos is riddled with bugs. Especially on iOS. I tried disabling iCloud Photos and removed all remaining photos. You would expect Photos to occupy 0MB after that? Wrong, it was still at more than 1GB. Why, how? Nobody knows.

Just ignore it, and hope it doesn't cause any issues later on.
