iCloud....Please Help

I'm sure this is user error...but icloud will not sync with my computer running lion. If I enter the info in my contacts on my computer it does not to go to icloud and appear on my ios devices. If I enter the info on my ios devices the info appears in icloud and on my ios devices but not my computers. Any help is greatly appreciated.

In your computer settings, under iCloud, do you have address book/contact sync enabled? For some reason, I think it's not set to do it by default.

Yes I do...I'm totally stumped on this 1.

I unchecked and rechecked it...it appears to work now...I'll see how it goes. Thanks for your reply.
