So How do you sync your POP email accounts to iCloud. I have two .com email addresses i need to sync. Can't find where to tell it to set these up. Just the free .me email.
Many thanks

I don't understand the question. Are you trying to add them to the iPhone? It has the ability to add pretty much any e-mail you want.

But you said you're trying to sync them with iCloud. Why? What do you meant?

Can you just auto-forward the accounts to have them send messages to iCloud? I'm not sure that advice helps since I don't fully understand the request.

well what i expected is it will sync all my mail on mac & iphone & ipad - so if i delete an email it deletes on all if i receive an email it appears on all and if i send one it appears in all my sent boxes - so i don't have to do the same action on every device - I thought this was the basic functionality of iCloud to keep all your things in sync right?

You don't need iCloud for that.

Just set up the e-mail on each device using either IMAP of Exchange settings.

You'll have to follow directions that your e-mail providers give to get the proper settings, though. Google can usually find them no matter what you're using.

As an example, if you're using G-Mail, follow this:

Yes, that one was closed off just prior to icloud, and it looks like that service has not returned.
I'd like that one too, and send email as another email address.
Neither are there (yet), once they are I will be fully iClouded.

I have 2 mailboxes set up on my Mac, iPad and iPhone.
If I delete on one the email is still on the other two. If I send an email on my iPad there is no record on my iPhone or Mac. I have a standard POP accounts from http://www.123-reg.co.uk I use OSX Mail on the Mac and the iOS mail programs on iphone and iPad.
All I want is for them to all sync - like iCal does perfectly - if i delete or move an appointment it updates on all - this is what i thought iCloud was all about!
Do I really need a gmail account to set up this? If iCloud doesn't do this what is the point having Mail on it. Why would I use a .me account I have never used before - I want to use my existing emails that work in Mail!

This is a limitation of your e-mail system. It was not built to sync if it is only POP.

There are many options you can get:

iCloud @me mail
Gmail
Yahoo
Hotmail
AOL

And many others. They just have to offer IMAP or Exchange. Not POP like yours apparently is.

Yes, if your e-mail can do this, that's all you need.
