iCloud Preference pane not loading

Yosemite has not given me much trouble, until now.
In System Preferences, if I click on the iCloud pane I get this message.
"Preferences Error
Could not load iCloud preference pane."
Unfortunately this issue has migrated to my CCC backups before I became aware of it.

I'd flag this thread as "Resolved", if I could figure out how?

Please let us know if you find a solution. Every time i try to open iCloud preferences the whole system preferences freezes as not responding
