Hi,

Have a quick question that maybe someone can answer...

I want to share my calendar with my girlfriend as a public calendar (not shared one). How easy would it be for someone that does not get the link from me to find out the link ?

Is there a way to scan for public shared calendars ?
The reason is I want her to have access to read but I don't want some teenager with pimples to find the url to my public calendar :D

Thank you

Why not just share it with your girlfriend and then there is no danger of anyone else seeing it?

I share several different calendars with my girlfriend and she shares some back, but I wouldn't want any of them to be made "public"

When I set an alert for a calendar event it also rings on her phone, no matter what settings we use on her phone. It's quite annoying for my phone also reminding me every time she has a class

You don't have this issue ?

I think you're right, but can't say it's really bothered either of us. By default I don't have reminders set on calendar events, so only add one when it's important. I like that fact we can both edit shared calendars, which I don't think you'd be able to do with public ones? We both still have calendars that aren't shared, but anything we're doing together, with the kids, or need the other to know about goes into the shared calendar.
