I have a large music collection that I ripped from my old CD's. If I get Icloud whne it comes out, say the 100GB, and sync them to that, how does it work with the iPhone? Can I browse my entire iCloud music library from the iPhone and then select which songs/albums/artists I want to download to the iPhone and then download them directly to it?

If so, that sfantastic. Save me a couple hundred bucks probably; I'll get the smallest capacity of the new iPhone when it launches.

That's the plan. You won't have to store any music on your iOS devices if you choose not to.

Only one mistake -- matched/uploaded music does NOT count against your storage limit, so don't get the 100 GB plan if your idea is to use that for music.

I think it does count, unless he actually bought the songs from iTunes. Sadly they will probably make matched songs count against our storage space :(

Only Purchased songs doesn't count.

It does not count. I've checked dozens of times and just rechecked right now.

Where are you getting your information?
