Mountain Lion Questions
Question #1: Will Notes on my iPhone move FROM my iPhone TO my iMac via iCloud?
Question #2: Does it do this automatically, or can I manually do it? I currently have over 20 notes on my iPhone that have NOT moved to my iMac.

Yes and Yes :)

OK, sounds good. So how do I configure both or either of these devices to do just that?
Obviously, Im doing something wrong, because, as I said, my iPhone notes are not syncing to my iMac via iCloud.

On the iPhone, go to setting > notes, and change the default to iCloud.

All your old iPhone notes are on the iPhone, not iCloud. Therefore, you'll need to copy/paste them as new notes to iCloud. When you do that, they should appear on the Mac.
