I have typically avoided iCloud for in the past for 2 reasons:

1) Not sure I can ever do a mass delete.
2) Not 100% how the syncing across devices work.

So if I enable iCloud on my iPad, iPhone and my Mac, and lets say I have safari bookmarks on all 3 devices. How can I control what bookmarks show up on what device? It just gets confusing to me because if I have a bookmark on my Mac, and not on the iPhone & iPad and do not want it transfer is that a possibility or is it all or nothing?
Then that asks the question if I want my iPhone bookmarks on the Mac and not the iPad is that a possibility? Or lets say I do not want the iPhone bookmarks to sync with any device....?
Appreciate any feedback as I am curious as to how it truly works and what all I have control over.

Second thing is lets say one day I decide to sell all my apple devices and leave apple and go for a Samsung device. Lets say I want to delete everything in my iCloud account, which I know Apple can delete your account if you call in but how can I ensure all my pictures/documents/contacts are deleted on my own?

It’s all or nothing for your bookmarks. Syncing just some bookmarks doesn’t make sense, you might as well manage them on your own without any form of sync.

Never knew you could delete all the data. Thought it still syncs..

I have another question:
Lets say I am using iCloud and choose to back up all my photos in iCloud. If I delete them from the device, A) How can I download them again if the need arose?
I guess what I am asking is if I can delete my photos from iCloud or the device independently of each other?

If lets say I have a 32gb iPhone & 64gb iPad is possible to keep all my photos in iCloud in the event that my iPhone could not hold all the photos on that device?
& If I delete a photo from either device does it delete from iCloud servers as well or is it still backed up?
Just never dealt with iCloud before and I am curious as to how it works. To me it seems it would back up everything and then if you delete something when it connects again to the internet to upload and update it would realize that photo is gone and when it does the backup again that particular photo will be gone as well.
