Hey,

My mum sadly passed away about a month ago before my grandma (small family) and I have sent all the family photos to a place where they make them digital. The idea is go my grandma can go through them all and maybe see if she likes reading books or newspaper on my mums iPad.

Im signed in on iTunes from when I bought it for her but the iCloud and find my thing keeps popping up.

I tried to reset the password but I don't have access to my late mothers email so change it. I don't know if anyone could give some advice?

Many thanks,

Jamie

Unfortunately I don't believe there is much you can do. Apple won't reset these things for police, let alone next of kin.

Even if you did a full restore it's still going to be locked to the last iCloud account that was signed into it.

Also, it goes without saying, but I'm sorry for your loss.

Thats annoying. My mum had two email accounts and I can get into one of her hotmail accounts but not the other which iCloud is set to. iCloud has been locked as I put the wrong password in to many times which is really annoying because I forgot I could check her Keychain on her Mac so I know the password now.
