iCloud Setup Question

Probably a stupid question but when iCloud launches we login to iCloud.com with our Apple ID and it gives us the option to create a free @iCloud email address?

Pretty sure you have to create it from within Lion or iOS.

You have to do it from within iOS, Lion or Possibly patched Snow Leopard (this was talked about, is that still the case?

They make iCloud to sell devices.

Also, it's worth noting that you will get an @me.com address, not an @icloud one.
