iCloud Shared Photos on iPhone but Mac on Monterey

I'd like to activate iCloud Shared Photo Library on our iPhones and iPads, but my wife's Mac has to remain on Monterey. Is this going to be a problem?

(This is a thread about iCloud Shared Photos not about whether Macs should be kept on Monterey)
