Hi All, I encountered a strange thing with my Family Sharing, and thought that maybe somebody has the same issue.

There are 4 family members under Apple One subscription, all services are shared properly despite iCloud storage. Two members (including organizator) have an access to shared iCloud Drive (2TB plan), but two others seems to not be "switched". Both users who are still under their individual plans are listed in Family Sharing as "Not using" under iCloud storage.

Any ideas how to "push" them to shared storage?

Hi I’m having the same issue. I had previously read that they must cancel their individual plans and be on the free 5gb option before adding them to the family plan — which I did, but it is still not working

I'm having the same problem. I contacted Apple Support but it didn't work.
so I fixed my issue.
1. Unsubscribe user from their personal iCloud account
2. Wait until their personal subscription lapses and they are put on a 5gb account
3. Add user to family plan
4. In their settings app navigate to their iCloud storage and select the family plan account (all other services were already selected, but for some reason Apple requires the storage service to be selected manually)

So my friend ended up doing this with his family recently. I switched my family over to the 2TB plan over a year ago ( I believe ). My wife and mother in law got prompts asking them if they wanted to keep their own plan or move to my family plan. When they hit ok, their subscriptions were ended and they now show under my total storage (I can't see their files).

My friend had a bit of a harder time - his wife wasn't prompted until she went to the Settings --> iCloud --> Family Sharing place to get the prompt. <shrug>.

Same issue: Members that previously used the shared iCloud now get mails their 5Gb is almost full... While they are mentioned in my family. :(
