Hi Guys. Short question. I've activated all my photos and videos to go into the Icloud so as not to strain my memory from the Iphone.

But still I have about 3-4 gigabytes which are occupied on my iphone through the photo app.
What is the reason for that?

You likely have "optimize storage" on. This means that the phone will decide how much space photos takes up, and will adjust as needed. Keep in mind you also need space on your phone for the thumbnails, and photos it deems worth downloading (e.g. favorites).

Thats correct, I have Optimize storage. But the other option is to keep the original, which would destroy my storage completely.
