iCloud storage won't go under 5.1GB

I have deleted everything I possibly can and my iCloud storage is constantly stuck on 5.1GB which has made me purchase the 50GB

Anyone know how to clear this down or is this a bug?

No, I backup on iTunes and always have done. I have turned everything off that I can but if I turn off Messages will it not be seemless on my Mac also?

Contact Apple. Sometimes data gets stuck and the only way to purge it is manually doing it.

The other alternative is to not pay for extra space and see what Apple deletes. If you really store nothing there then it shouldn't matter.
