I'm suffering from an iCloud sync issue on my Mac. Finder regularly reports that it's downloading an item, which never completes. iCloud in Finder shows all items are synched except the ‘Searching “This Mac”.

I'm trying to work through the logic and I'm wondering if anyone else had issues with that not synching?

If I doule click on it to try and force it to sync I get a ‘That operation can't be completed.' error message.

Sometimes i find if you make a change to another file in icloud, even if its just adding a space to a pages document, that will be enough to jolt the other one

Thanks guys. @Bigwaff I've looked through that thread before and have tried most of the tips in there. The iCloud is actually synching files I work with, it's just the odd 'unknown' file (I think belonging to an app) that has the issue.

@Cunir as I say it does sync files I work with all the time it's just that weird display I see.

Already got Apple involved, waiting on them giving me the next session. Scheduling is difficult near Christmas I guess.

[Update - one session cancelled, next one due any minute now - if the engineer calls as promised].
