Interestingly, notes created on my iPhone manually synch to my iPad. Notes created on my iPhone with Siri (iPhone 4S) do not.

Anyone have any theories? This seems odd.

Hmmm, I'm finding similar - notes I create on my 4S sync back to Mail on my Mac, but notes I dictate via Siri don't show up on my Mac.

Is it just your iPad you don't see your notes on, or are they not on your Mac either?

[Edit]

I've looked at my iCloud account online and they're not there either, so it looks like they're not even leaving my iPhone.

I just tried a test - created two notes, one via Siri and one by hand. Both appear to have synced fine, despite a note I created in Siri last night still not having synced. I think this is maybe just down to the general problems iCloud seems to be experiencing at the moment, and that the fact that last night's Siri note didn't sync was just an iCloud quirk, nothing to do with how it as created.

I'm not feeling the love of Notes syncing either.

I'm using:
iCloud
iPhone 4S
iMac with Lion 10.7.2
MacBook Air with Lion 10.7.2

Looking in Mail (on both computers) and hitting Command+4 I see a note or two I typed several months ago. Was on Mobileme before, guessing that's how those notes arrived.

No new notes that I created starting last Friday with the iPhone 4S, Siri and iCloud. Notes syncing is switched on in System Preferences on all devices.

Hmmm. Would be nice if it synced. I've been finding that taking notes with Siri could help me on a daily basis, if it worked.

edit to add: signed in to iCloud.com and was able to view the same note that shows up on my computers. Can't add a note on iCloud.com (if you can, I can't figure it out)

Have you checked that you're working with your iCloud notes on your Mac and iPhone, and not just with ones stored locally (i.e. 'On My Mac' and 'iCloud')?

Looks like it syncs notes that:

I enter on the Mac using the Mail program.
I enter manually on the iPhone typing on the keyboard.
I dictate using the microphone input method

Does not sync notes that:

I dictate to Siri (hold home button, say "take a note" and record, it transcribes it and says "noted")

Siri notes also not synching

I'm so glad I found this thread since I have been experiencing the same thing and thought it was just me. I can type a note on my iPhone and it is quickly sent to Mail on my Mac and to Notes on my iPad. However, if I dictate a note to Siri on my iPhone 4s, it shows up in the same list on my iPhone as the one I typed but does not get sent to Mail (or my iPad). Even though the notes look the same to me, they are not behaving the same.

Hoping this gets fixed soon.
