iCloud syncing issues & contact pictures

Currently testing Catalina and am having trouble syncing calendars and notes. Also, my contact pics in messages appear to be zoomed out. Is anyone else seeing this bug?

I don't have the Calendar or Notes bugs but my contact photos are zoomed out. Also, their names are showing as Nicknames within Messages for some reason and nothing will change them back.

There is a massive bug which I am surprised they didnt find - and hope to hell they sort out in the beta 2 of the release.

Jun 12 11:21:00 xxxx com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.icloud.drive.fileprovider[14011]): Extension is hanging on launch. Killing.
Jun 12 11:21:00 xxxx com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.icloud.drive.fileprovider[14011]): Extension did not initialize in time.

xxxx is my machine name - i removed for privacy!

I have reported to Apple via their feedback system for Beta releases.. no news yet!

Anyone have any idea when they might release Beta 2?? God I hope its soon!

Unfortunately, both the iCloud syncing issue AND contact pictures issue are not fixed in todays Beta 2. Let's continue to report to Apple... Hopefully they will tackle the issue for Beta 3

The contact picture issue still hasn't been fixed ...
