I realize this is a beta and there are bound to be issues, but I'm having a mildly annoying one with iCloud tab syncing. Long story short, I installed the iOS 6 beta on my iPad just to mess around with it, then reverted back to iOS 5 because I like stability. However, I am running Mountain Lion on my Air because it's pretty much final at this point and very stable. My problem is this - in the iCloud tab syncing bar in Safari, it still shows my iPad's open tabs. I can't get rid of this device. Since iPad is no longer running iOS 6, I can't simply go into it and close the tab to remove it from the list. It's just stuck there on the list and I can't find any option to unregister unused devices with iCloud or anything like that. Does anybody out there have any suggestions on how to remove this device? Would it work if I put iOS 6 BACK on the iPad, opened Safari and closed all the tabs, and then reverted back to iOS 5 again? Or would that end up in having yet another unused device on the list? Please help!

Hi, I am having the same problem as above.

I have tried re-installing iOS 6 on my iPad, which just created another device in the safari tab menu.

Really hoping there not going to be stuck there forever!

Just an update on this..I've noticed over the last few days that my old tabs (from different device setups) have been disappearing. This leads me to believe that there is a time expiration if you have a tab "open". Not the best implementation but good news for those of us who had rogue tabs from previously setup devices. I am back to iOS 5.1.1 on my iPad and iPhone and my Mac running DP4 Mountain Lion shows no open tabs in the synced tabs button. As of yesterday there was 2 remaining from a previous iOS 6 setup I did on my iPad and as of this morning they were gone.

I think you need to wait 6 days. Before that the tab will not disappear even if safari is quit. In my case, after I format and reinstall 10.8, there is a ghost iCloud tab which is opened by the mac doesn't exist anymore.
