Hello Everyone,

Thanks in advance for reading my thread and participating in the replies :).
I'm running OS X 10.9.1 on my MacBook Pro 13" (early 2011 model), I have an iPhone as well, with latest version of iOS 7 on it.

I'm continuously running into a problem with the "iCloud Tabs Feature" of Safari 7 on the Mac side of iCloud. While it is possible for me to view the opened Tabs in Safari on my iPhone, the same feature seems not to work in Safari on my Mac.

When I click on the iCloud tabs button near the address bar in Safari, it shows this window

I tried the following to solve the problem:

  • Turnning iCloud off then on
  • unchecking then checking safari in icloud Preferences
  • I even reinstalled the OS again
  • Finally (which was part of a housekeeping job) I wiped the Mac HD and reinstalled the system and restored from Time Machine

Unfortunately all were of little avail. I would really appreciate, if someone ran into such problem or similar one can help me.

thanks

A couple things I can think of to try... Maybe a Safari extension on OS X is interfering in some way with it? Do you use any third party security or firewall software on OS X? You can always try a PRAM and SMC reset, but that's probably not going to do anything. A permissions repair could be another standard troubleshooting step to try. Did you sign out of iCloud then back in on your iPhone too? Perhaps try signing out of iCloud on both your iPhone and Mac, rebooting both, then signing back in.

Try updating to OSX to 10.9.4, same goes for your iOS devices get them all on the latest iOS.

Oh yes, I didn't even see that they were on an older version of Mavericks. 7.1.2 is the current version of iOS. Best to make sure you have that too. 10.9.4 comes with an updated version of Safari, so it may just fix your issues there.

I have the same issue, and all my searches and suggestions have not fixed the issue. The only thing I can think of is the Pangu jailbreak, as it is the only change I have recently made since I noticed iCloud Tabs are not syncing.

EDIT: I notice that syncing of bookmarks happens when added or rearranged, but still Tabs are not working.

If got the same issue. The iCloud icon in Safari on my MacBook stays blank. But it works the other way around and works on my iPhone.

All divises are up to date and the only extension I'm running on my Safari (MacBook) ist ABP.

I was able to get iCloud Tabs working properly by going to:
Settings --> General --> Reset, then selecting Reset All Settings. Hope this helps! :apple:

If you mean settings on my iPhone, this is already working. The problem is in iCloud Tabs in Safari on my Macbook Pro OS X Mavericks!
