For iCloud+ storage let's say before I go on vacation can I activate the 2TB for $9.99 a month and when I come back from vacation can I just transfer all the pictures and videos to my external hard drive and cancel the 2 TB plan after a month?

While on vacation can I just upload all the photos to iCloud and delete them off my iPhone since I only have the 128gb version?
