I'm a big Apple fanatic, as I'm sure many of you here are. I used to use their MobileMe service, but I found out that I can do push emails and Contacts/Calendar syncing over Google through Microsoft Exchange--for free. It took me a while to figure out the kinks, but once I got it running properly and have had no trouble with any sync issues for the past two years.
Yesterday, Apple announced iCloud. In the simplest of terms, it's a "free version" of MobileMe (less a few restrictions, mainly storage). My question is, what would be the benefit of me going back to Apple cloud service?
Here is my current configuration:
Address Book: Syncing over Google Sync to Gmail, MBP, iPhone, iPad, iTouch.
Calendar: Syncing over Google Sync to Gmail, MBP, iPhone, iPad, iTouch.
Mail: Pushed from Gmail to MBP, iPhone, iPad, iTouch.
Find my iPhone: set up with Apple ID/MobileMe on iPhone, iPad, iTouch
