icloud windows photo library not syncing

Hi,

I store my iphone photos in the icloud photo library, and want to sync them automatically to my Windows PC (Windows 7). Till last month, this was working, but now new photos don't sync to the PC anymore. I can view the photos on icloud.com, but the number of files in the icloud photo folder stays the same, the last picture being from November. The icloudphotos.exe process is constantly working, though, taking up CPU time, and reading/writing the local database (client.db-wal).

Any ideas?

Check the settings on your phone, especially the sync settings. I think the default is sync when connected to WiFi and charging.

As I said, the photos are synced fine on icloud.com, it's an icloud for windows issue...
