iCloud iCloud with custom domain

Does anyone have any news on how custom domains will work with iCloud? Any clues yet?

I’d like to put my whole family under my domain with iCloud, but I hope it doesn’t have to be done under Family Sharing because some of my relatives use Android.

Unless I missed it somewhere, Apple hasn't released any fine details on the actual setup process in that regard. If I am wrong, someone please correct me.
