Can someone tell me the point of iCloud besides the fact that it automatically syncs from compute to iphone to ipad etc... I have a mac but havent downloaded Lion yet. All my iCloud account does for me now is have my contacts backed up. What else does it do, am i missing something?

I know, I know. Ive seen it. I just thought maybe I was missing something.

Well, you only mentioned contacts so I assumed you didn't know anything about it. If you've gone over Apple's iCloud stuff, why are you asking?

It can do contacts, emails, reminders, photos, backups, documents and the like. The whole purpose of it is to keep all your iDevices and Mac in-sync without having to do anything. It just works. If you have an iPhone, there's really no reason not to do it.

And it will backup your iPhone eliminating the need to hook it up to your PC and itunes to do the backup.
