Last winter some high school student came speeding down my road, lost control and crashed in my yard.. months later, we found a iphone 5c in our yard, which miraculously still works.

However..

It is locked from iCloud and we can't open the phone in anyway, is there a way to remove this? i tried that DNS server stuff where you put in a code and nothing seems to work.

It sounds like the iPhone is protected by activation lock, there is no way around that. Further, since this iPhone was "found", I would recommend turning it over to Apple or your local law enforcement. I would think that, were the one who lost an iPhone, you would want someone to return it to you.

OP, you might have been thinking that defeating Activation Lock was an appropriate subject in the jailbreak forums.

I assure you, no matter what you think, that according to the rules here, it is not.

Whether your story is legitimate or even ethical doesn't matter. Defeating Activation Lock is a) not possible and b) against the rules.

So this iPhone 5C was just sitting outside for months and it miraculously still works? I'm calling ********. I doubt an iPhone could survive sitting outside for months in the weather in someone's yard. There are sprinklers in yards, dew in the mornings, etc. You're lying.

If you bought this stolen phone, you should turn it over to law enforcement or give it to apple to get it back to it's owner. If you found it, you should also turn it over to law enforcement or give it to apple to get it back to it's owner. If you stole it yourself, I hope you rot in jail.
