i bought my wife and daughter 256gb and 128gb respectively new iPhones. They both had 50gb storage plans that I would like to cancel. They are both using more than the 5gb. How do I download everything from the cloud and then delete the files on the cloud so I can downgrade their service. I have looked on the web but couldn't find what I needed thank you.

login to icloud.com and download everything on there

sync the phones to your computer

On an iOS device Settings/iCloud/Storage/Manage Storage shows you how he storage is being used. Sometimes it might be email on the server, sometimes it's documents & data, sometimes it's backups to the cloud. Best success!
