I'm using it with folders. They behave the same as icons.

There is a setting to disable the layout within folders, if you don't want them all weird inside them.

Can you say where that setting is ?

Damn looks like my iPhone 5 iOS 6.1 is not supported yet !!

That's weird. I got it working on my iPad 3, 6.1.

Anyway, under the iconoclasm settings, if under extras you choose "stock 4x4", it will be the default arrangement within the folder.

I'll have another look for the version that will run on my iPhone 5.

I use the tweak 'folder enhancer' so will it still be stock 4x4 setting I use ?

Their does not seem to be an individual setting for a folder but that of page 1 to page 8 (I think) I assume 'page 1' means your first homepage ?

Iconoclasm.

I've un installed this tweak for now due to it putting my phone into safe mode when i attempted to move an app out of a folder, and it would not allow me to move the apps around within the folder.

I'm thinking its not quite ready yet and also does not want to play with folder enhancer.

Maybe it's the interaction with FolderEnhancer. I don't have the issues you do with moving apps, but I just have Iconoclasm installed.

If you also have folder enhancer installed.....Open up a folder on your phone and make them wiggle.

Press on an app and move it down to where your dock is normally as if your moving it onto one of your home screens..... this is what sent mine into safe mode.

Also i could not move the apps around within the folder.

I don't have folder enhancer installed, which seems to point to the combination of the 2 tweaks being the culprit.

I too have had crashes with Iconoclasm moving icons out of folders. Turning off Iconoclasm restores this capability. The author has acknowledged problems reported by users of this nature with Iconoclasm 1.8.1 on iOS 6.1.

This happened to me as my Home page has a layout with only 4 icon positions (meant for folders; other blank space meant for LockInfo / NC / Widgets). When I try to drag an icon out of a folder to an already full page, the springboard crashes.

I've worked around the problem by adding additional icon positions (that I will never use). That way, if I drag an icon out of a folder, it just pops into an available blank spot. No more crashes. :)

I've Email'd the author that of what I suspect...that Iconoclasm crashes when trying to move an icon into an already full page.

I really like Iconoclasm. It allows me to position icons with a 1-pixel resolution. Also, Folder Enhancer now apparent supports it. Given the free "Iconoclasm Layout Maker" (by a different author; very nice program), it's make Iconoclasm much more enjoyable to use.

I still can't get Iconoclasm to actually work correctly on my iPhone 5. It layers icons on top of each other in some situations, and is horribly off on the layouts on others. I'm not quite sure what the issue is, but it's essentially the only tweak I can't get to work properly. (aside from those with serious iOS 6 incompatibilities that seem to affect everyone).

I typically use 5 icons in my dock so I've made it to 7 so when i want to move an icon out of a folder i move it temporarily to my dock and then move it to where i want it.
