Is there any way to resize the icons in the google now launcher? They're massive on the Moto G2. I know I can get smaller icons in another launcher, but I haven't found one that allows me to swipe left to Google Now.

There was one launcher I tried a while back that supported both - but can't for the life of me remember which one. The bigger icons are one of the things I actually like about the Google snow launcher though tbh.

Nova is the only launcher I feel is worth using on Android. It gets rid of the gigantic icons and, of course, you can always find a custom set of icons to use with it as well.

Also, why must you swipe left for google now? On my old phone I just held the home button..on my new Turbo I just hold the home button and swipe up half an inch...I think Google Now as a homepage is an awful idea you could adjust to living without once you set up a new Launcher to your liking.

I've learned to cope with Nova launcher. I like the default icon sizes on it and I got used to opening google now through the home button. Still though, I would like to be able to swipe left for it. Hopefully future versions of google's launcher will allow you to adjust icon size. I really like to keep things stock.

I decided to do a little bit of looking around for you with regards to having Google Now accessible with left swipe, and I did find an alternate launcher that has this ability. It's called Epic Launcher. I personally prefer to use Nova Prime, but one of the premium features of Epic Launcher is the Google Now launch swipe. Some people have said that you can't swipe back out of it like you can in Google Now Launcher, but instead need to hit the back arrow, or home button.

Thanks for putting the effort into it, I already knew about epic launcher and that's exactly why I didn't get it, because you can't swipe back. I've gotten very comfortable with nova launcher and accessing Google now from the home button. I think I'm good now. And I just got the OTA lollipop update today!

Nova launcher and go into setting. In the gesture section you can pick many options to use that will launch the Google Now. Or you can just say "OK Google" with Nova as well and it is also an implement into Lollipop.

EDIT.... Just saw the post above this.

So received a big update to the Google Now Launcher this morning.

Yuck. Can't STAND the look of it! The swipe-left page looks completely different and makes far less sense to me, but let's see.

Bit annoying.

Yeah lots of wasted space on the left pane above the now cards and the search bar ... They need to kill the colour at least on the microphone - its as tacky as hell.
