MP 1,1-5,1 ICY BOX IB-3640SU3 cant power on with Mac pro Automatically?

Hi All Rumors

Im received today ICY BOX IB-3640SU3 3.5 inch JBOD external 4 drives box .

This thing shuts down with Mac pro shutdown , but dont power on with Mac pro on eSATA port.

Is this a problem with ICY BOX or my Mercury Accelssior E2 eSATA ports?

My OWC eSATA box with just One SSD powers on with Mac pro on the same eSATA port.

The manual says there's a SYNC button.

LED off - sync function is off
LED blue – power off with PC
LED yellow – power off & power on with PC

Maybe try a different sync option.

The manual also says that "Port multiplier at host computer needed, if connected via eSATA"

The product page for the OWC Mercury Accelssior E2 says "Not compatible with port-multiplier enclosures."

The product page also says that sleep should be disabled when using certain eSATA devices.

You could connect the IB using USB 3.0 (5 Gbps) - it's faster than the SATA 3G (3 Gbps) that the IB supports.

I was afraid of Sync button without reasons ( Sync disks automatically can erase some disks )

I lost some important data on my iPhone with erase and sync option turned on in iTunes preferences

since than Im not in sync
