If you could get it with a SSD and a 5850...come on apple...give us the option for an SSD at least...I know pointless...but I want the machine so bad but can't stand the fact I can't get the specs I want

I would buy one right now if the darn yellow screen wasn’t there...
(of course I bought one already. seems I’m a member of the yellow club)

But yes an 5850 is welcome... and a mat screen is also welcome.
The need for an SSD is in my case nearly nothing...
It should be there as an boot disk. (Standard)

The 5XXX series was released after the iMacs were introduced, maybe in the next revision.

What are you doing that you need a 5XXX card? The 4850 does pretty darn OK.

You want a SSD, install one. Not hard. Take me about 15 minutes, maybe less.

Don't want to void the warranty on a machine that seems to have a lot of issues...a 5850 would just make me feel better about dropping 2k on a computer...4850 would be more than enough...just being stubborn

"I'd buy right now, if..." only translates to "I'm not buying and make up excuses for myself and others".

And while we're at it: I would buy that Lamborghini Countach that I already wanted to have when I was a kid if only I had the money for it. Come on, Lamborghini, give that car away for free!
