I am looking for a good app that will help me clean up all the ID3 tags in my MP3 library.

I have about 60 gigs of music collected from about 20 years. All the ID3 tags are messed up but it looks good in iTunes.

Now i want to use the music also on my Car stereo that is Android, and that looks very bad to say the least.

There is huge variation in the ID3 data and sometimes the MP3 player in the car dont understand what songs belong to same album. Probably because error in ID3 tag for album.

Is there any good app that will scrape all the data from online source, and put the correct ID3 tags on all of my album?

I would be happy if there is OSX app for this, as i am running old mac laptop with the music.

Very thankful for any input from users!

What i need:
- Drag and drop my itunes music library folder to app
- App downloads / scrapes data from online services
- App makes all ID3 data uniform on the library, and puts all data in correct cells for tag so that other players can identify all needed data and coverart.

NO MANUAL WORK =)

thanks guys!

Thanks for the link!

I downloaded this app and tried it, it works just as advertised and is very easy to use.

I made a complete update of all the ID3 tags in my 60Gb album so that i can use this in my Android device in the car.

This was done on a copy of my MP3 iTunes album.

Later data was transferred to USB stick and loaded into the car audio system.

This operation took about 10 ours in total to complete, with all the copy and ID3 making process.

Well worth the time now since it gives correct data in my car stereo, and shows cover art for all the albums.

If anyone else suffers similar problem that i had, i can recommend using this app to start off with on the Mac OS X platform. For windows there are other options also.
