Could I please have your recommendations for ID3 tagging software. I don’t mind paying a few quid.

Thank you

I use iTunes - does the job for me.

Just click cmd + i on any song and you can edit for that song.

you can also batch edit by choosing an album or multiple songs and edit all at once.

I also use it to add lyrics and album artwork etc.

Thank you. I want to do some more advanced tagging than iTunes allows.

I have been using Mp3Tag (free). It meets all my needs. (Awards it has received).
I hope you will like it.
I have been using this on the Mac side for quite sometime. So much so, that I no longer go to my Windows machine for tagging anymore.
I like

Multi-Item Editor, its an AppleScript it goes $1.99. Doug keeps his scripts updated and this does the job at least for me to update music tags.

Multi-Item Editor
Thank you everyone.

i really dig Tag Editor
This is a simple and an effective tool to use.You can get the job done in few simple steps.
You will be able to customize the ID3 tags according to your preferences without facing any restrictions.
I have thousands of music files and when it comes to organization I’m some kind of nutjob. Tag Editor was the perfect solution.
