a thought i had now.

sometimes i just want to DND certain applications because of annoying notifications, so without turning on DND for the entire phone, i thought of this.

Something like that would be nice. Or at least perhaps a shortcut to application settings area for that particular app in the Settings app.

I don't have force touch but can see this is a good idea. Great implementation might I add.

So App DND would basically shutoff badges and notifications?

I like it.

Send to Apple as feedback/enhancement request.

I don't think Apple would want to govern DND for apps. It's a good idea but rather for app developers, not Apple.

They do it on the OS level, and they do allow to control notifications from individual apps as well, which is in a sense similar to what DND for an app would do.

I don't think it's a good idea to crowd that menu. How often do you really need such a setting anyway?
