Ok..so i was looking at an unboxing photo and the guy said that the reason it was glossy was b\c there was a sheet of glass over the lcd. Then, he preceeded to take off this glass sheet in order to get to the internal components. So...can't one just take off the glass sheet and then have a working, matte, display? The computer won't look as good, but it'll be matte.

edit: looking at the photo again..assuming this worked...a third party could make a black plastic frame that fits the spot to make it look as it did..i'm sure someone could come up with that fairly easily.
